cuz rehab was like sex to her,

was up in the house
while pops was out
doin what he could to kill doubts

of whether they would ever make it
cuz no matter how many sacrifices they made it
never seemed
like it'd ever be.

See,
her pops loved her mum
and all of her baggage,
but see he also loved that slum
and all of its madness.

So the cycle kept rollin
as that girl kept growin,
and here we are 20yrs later,
guess who broken, now?

He was born with a silver spoon in his grill,
dad was a lawyer
and mom was a prescriber of pills.

So there was always somethin round the crib for him to pop,

His parents throwin more pills at him.

They gone on VaCay
flights to the coast....
he on stay-cay
house parties liquor and coke.

Everybody high,
everybody drunk as a bitch
crib fulla angry fucked up kids
and all of em rich.

Then one night,
he met a girl
They had nothin in common
other than both being from fucked up worlds.

She had told him bout her father,
He told her bout his moms,
she told him bout her mum,
then they did anotha line.

Then they did anotha shot,
then they did ANOTHA line...
next thing ya know
baby pullin out a pipe.

and as he looks in her eyes,
he's in love that fast...
and that's the first time he smoked crack.....man DAMN.

somehow for his crap of a life.

So they play like they believe the lies

Cuz they believe that's the only way
